When the going gets tough…

The media as a whole (in my view) have been talking up the possibility of a recession for some time now. Personally, I think the ‘recession talk’ is overdone, but what do any of us know? On the other hand in my networking I notice that fellow business people are frightened even to use the ‘D’ word – a downturn in their sales, or even the ‘S’ word (stagnation) for fear of being viewed as a prophet of doom.
